My name is Chris Craig, and I operate Resilience Physical Education out of HybridFHP in Peterborough, ON., Canada (approximately 2 hours from Toronto).

I appreciate working with a wide array of backgrounds to help facilitate goal achievement with the help of strength and conditioning programs. In recent years I have had the pleasure of working with many unique individuals including artists, athletes, emergency service professionals, intellectuals, and those with lots of life experience. "Physical stress that is not excessive will lead to physical adaptation and we will emerge more resilient as individuals and as a society" (Duncan, Liebenson, 2018, p.761). Resilience is not invulnerability, it’s our ability to be self-aware and utilize our experiences, genetics, environment and support networks to positively adapt when our lives are exposed to adversity and stress (Folke, et al., 2016; Guimarães, 2018; Haase, et al., 2016; Luthar, Cicchetti, & Becker, 2000). With an understanding of these concepts, the intent of my work is to offer individuals the opportunity to increase their quality of life through relative strength so that they may better feel, perform, prevent injuries or frailty, and reduce the likelihood of disease (Duncan, Liebenson, 2018; Guimarães, 2018).
